The position is a key position in a young dynamic cross-functional European marketing organizationdirectly reporting to the Head of Marketing Europe.
Beverages & Food Europe (f/m)
The position is to create value by driving additional businessderive new opportunities based on a good understanding of the European beveragefood consumer market. With your deep understanding of today’s consumer trendspreferences as well as the industrycustomer needsspecifics you develop relevant strategic Pan-European market approachesprovide valuable input to our regional marketingsales force throughout the continent. Pleaseour teamyou are keen to work on international crossfunctional projectspassionate to shape SIG's market positionfuture in Europe.
You will strengthen our European Marketing team in the following challenging activities:
Understanding customersconsumers (B2B-B2C-marketing)
Spotting thetrendsinnovation needs (product marketing & launch)
Knowing the segment / category value chains in Europe (industry knowledge)
Market seizingopportunity spotting (strategic marketing)
Initiating actions for category development (drive & action plan for growth)
Creating new industry opportunities (new business contacts / leads)
Knowledge hub for regional marketingsales force (pitch partner, story & content provider)
You ideally match our requirementsyou have the following skills profile:
Vocational experience (min. 3 - 5 years) in Marketing / BrandProduct Management / Category Management / Business Development / in the food/beverage industry of advantage
Degree in Marketing/Business Administrationany other suitable university degree
International experienced team player enjoying cross-functional teams
Ideally, hands on experience in developinglaunching new products to the market (i. e. B2C focus, B2B experience with close consumer focus)
Ability to discuss on eye level new product solutions with SIG customers, bringing both worlds together, B2BB2C
Experience in moderating brainstorming / customer workshopsguide discussingthe expected direction
Strong personality that can push ideasprojects through, stand their groundtake the lead in projectsultimatelymost importantly loves to work in an exciting international cross-functional marketing team
Fluent in Englishprofound knowledge of German
Willingness to travel within Europe 25 %
Independent use of MS office package
