Functional Area: Sales & Business Development

Fostering QIAGEN’ s sample-to-insight offeringdeveloping workflow salessample isolation down to data analysisinterpretation.
Selling directly to customers (phonevisits), delivering trainingseminars.
Increasing sales by actively selling to end users. Supporting other specialistsrepresentativesdeveloping tactical plans to maximize revenues. 
Maintaindevelop relationships with key customersreferences. Increase customer satisfaction. Develop new business opportunities in biomedical research labs, pharma & biotech.
Responsible for forecasting country related product revenuesreaching country budgets.
Work closely together with localregional marketing managers to provide market feedbackto contribute to country action plans. Work with Pan-European teams to align actionsleverage synergies to exceed sales targets.
Actively utilize CRM database to inputprovide information that will increase effectiveness “in front of” the customeraid sales. 
Organization of meetings/communication channels to ensure effective communication across business units.

Minimum education: Master of Science, PhDequivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year sales experience.
Experience with Next Generation Sequencing technologiesapplications.
Knowledge of relevant markets.
Fluent GermanEnglish skills, an additional language would be a plus.
Personal Requirements

Highly motivatedself-organised person with the ability to work independentlyin teams in a structured manner.
Willingness to travel across the DACH countriesthe Netherlands.
