Technical Account Manager (m/f/d) TCS Europe
Work independently to lead all functions in technical matters with West’s customers (including Key/Global accounts) relating e.g. to drug-closure compatibility, packaging recommendationsdevelopment, component processingextractable/leachables
Actively take a leading role as the global TCS lead on assigned G-Champ accounts by coordinating with all peers
Be an active part of the market segmented sales teams as part of assigned account teams
Develop the technical aspects for the commercial strategies for products/servicescustomers
Represent the Voice of Customer to the West organization by assuring VOC is documentedVOI tracked
Lead the technical discussion with customers to obtain the background informationcustomer’s technical requirements on projects
Advise on the status ofdrive technical aspects of internalexternal customer-linked projects
Coordinatedesign technical studies for presentationpublication to position West as thought leader
Lead technical seminars/symposiums with customers, educate them on product applicationsshare industry insights with them
Be an expert in troubleshootingproblem-solving product/application concernsWest customers, with agility to articulateidentify/apply West internal resources
Act as a liaisoncustomers, SalesWest Analytical Laboratories
Develop trainingstrain the global TCS team on product knowledgeapplications in areas of expertisetake on role of technical advisor to the team as needed
Leadconsult on all technical aspects for product launches, new products, formula developmentother development projects based on customer needsmarket segment
Provide technical adviceindustry insights to the Scientific Communications team in defining, writingcompleting internal studies of West technologies for generatingsupporting West Technical Reports, West Technical Bulletinscommercial literature
Work closely with Scientific Insights Lab to develop scientific understanding of West productstheir interaction with customers’ drug applications

Bachelor in technical field (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering); a graduate degree would be preferred
More than 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years solid experience in related fields such as pharmaceuticalmedical device industry
Experience in technical support, analytical laboratory, Research & Development,engineering role
Ability to utilize sound judgmentmanage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to connect with otherseffectively influencemanage key relationships across diverse organizational levels, business unitscustomers
Ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously in a fast-pacedcomplex environment with a self-motivated work ethic
Fluidity to balance multiple priorities
Ability to anticipateidentify internalexternal client needsmake appropriate recommendations
Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization
Excellent English language skills (writtenoral)
